Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a management strategy according to a company incorporates the interests of employees, social interests, environmental aspects into the structure of its activities.
At AUTOMATECH, corporate social responsibility is embedded in our company’s strategy. We create our own and support external numerous initiatives. For example all-year activity in our company – collecting plastic bottle caps supporting the Foundation Friend of the Lesser Brothers.
Another example is the activation of activities supporting the local community.
We sponsored the bike repair station and reflective vests for the residents of the Municipality of Michalowice, where AUTOMATECH is located. Vests were for adults and children.

President Obama in July 2010 signed the Dodd-Frank-Act, which, among other things, requires companies to commit to avoiding minerals from conflict regions. The act regulates the import and use of minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo region and neighboring countries. Metals affected by the legislation include tantalum, tungsten, tin and gold. The new law forces listed companies in the U.S. to report annually to the SEC (Securities Exchange Commission) the origin of their products and whether they were made from so-called conflict minerals. The new regulation went into effect on April 17, 2011.
AUTOMATECH, which is a private company, is not directly subject to the regulation. Being a distributor of industrial automation components from various manufacturers, the company assures that there are no deviations from the regulation, and that the products in AUTOMATECH’s portfolio (based on data provided from manufacturers and suppliers) do not contain minerals from the listed areas. If we receive information to the contrary, we will promptly provide such information.
